Eli Melendez

Eli is an award-winning designer with a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Since joining Steven Ginn Architects in 2020, Eli has played an integral role in shaping projects that reflect each client’s unique needs, grounding his approach in attentive listening and a commitment to deep understanding.

Eli brings a passion for graphic representation and 3D visualization to every project, skillfully translating complex spatial and material relationships into clear visuals that cultivate shared understanding at every stage of the design process. His work is driven by a commitment to creating mindful spaces that engage the senses and connect people to the places they occupy. Inspired by the natural world, Eli infuses his work with organic form and rhythm, resulting in architecture that feels both integrated in its environment and uplifting to those who experience it.

Beyond architecture, Eli draws on his background in product design to craft ceramic wares and furniture pieces, continuing his exploration of form and material at an intimate scale. His enduring connection to nature is a common thread across his work, guiding his pursuit of designs that are both beautiful and sustainable. Eli strives to create products and environments that are intentional, harmonious, and thoughtfully attuned to human experience.
